A returning customer approached us with the idea of giving his friend, who is celebrating his 50th birthday, something truly unique. Something that he is guaranteed not to find in any store and that reflects the individuality of the person being celebrated. That is how the idea was born: let's create a perspective sculpture made using 3D printing.

Weaving (whether made from paper, rattan, or other materials) is an ancient yet timeless craft technique that allows you to create a variety of decorative or utilitarian objects, such as baskets, table ornaments, window ornaments, planters, or fruit containers. To make weaving easy and efficient, many people prefer to use so-called basket or paper weaving molds with different patterns for the initial steps. Of course, these molds can also be 3D printed, like all our other custom products.

One of the school assignments for my younger daughter was to write a statement about how her family protects the environment, what steps she takes to prevent pollution and sustainability in general. It reminded me that we also describe what we at Manubim - who make custom products with 3D printing - make and what plans we have for sustainability.

After the fashion industry, we can now gain insight into how one segment of the construction industry is heading for additive manufacturing technologies. We would not think so, but 3D printing will soon be able to build concrete houses. This was reported in the project named Project Milestone, launched in Eindhoven, Netherlands, which is not an experiment, since in 2019 more houses will be built for commercial purposes within the framework of the project.
